I’ve torn up the roads in this town. I’ve left no street untraveled in order to locate her and that motherfucking dead man walking. Every store, bar, campsite and office has been hit. We’ve made it known far and wide that if anyone knows where he is and doesn't come forward, they will pay alongside of him. We had to deal with a couple of mouthy old fuckers. So, my knuckles are sore from the lessons taught, but adrenaline and vengeance is still pumping through my veins. Mr. Jessup may have friends in this town, but I have something better on my side...fear.

Nobody wants to get on the wrong side of Twisted Iron, they know what we’re capable of. We have no quarrels where reminding them is concerned, as we have happily reiterated that fact today. I couldn’t care less if I’m on anyone’s good side, they don’t have to like me, but they will motherfucking respect me and my patch. No stone will be left unturned until I have Nova safely secured in my arms. If even one hair on her head has been harmed, Mr. Jessup will pay the ultimate price, he’ll be begging and praying for a quick death. Neither of which he’ll receive from me nor my brothers. Nova is family; he’s nothing more than a shit stain on the streets that we walk on.

Running out of places to search, I pull over at the local gas station. I want my tank full and ready to roar once we have the location of where Nova’s being held. I yank the handle of the pump with more force than is necessary. It flies from my hand, making an arch in the air, but at the last minute, I manage to grab it. Drops of fuel fall around me; usually the smell is a sweet, victorious one, promising me more road time...but today, it does nothing more than sour my stomach.

“We will find her, Fox.” Sandman comes up next to me, his hand landing on my shoulder firmly. “There won’t be a restful slumber in this town until she’s returned to us.” He always uses his moniker with a pun. Usually, I’d be finding this hilarious and laughing my ass off. Nothing today has the capability of making me laugh.

“I have no doubt we’ll find her. It’s the condition she will be in once we do that has me worried,” I admit.

“Whatever shape she’s in, we’ll all be there to help her get through it.” Sandman’s expression is forlorn; I know he’s remembering what all Aria went through, and how hard she had to fight to get back a semblance of herself. She’s not as free-spirited as she once was, but she’s getting there. I will accept nothing less than that for my Nova. She’s an exception to every rule I’ve ever had. She’s a bright ray of sunshine on a stormy day.

“Do you think she’ll hate us? You know that fucker went after her because of the beat down we put on him.
